BYU student Graff is not alone in his interest in cryptocurrency. Seniors Jacob Fairchild and Cole Benson started a BYU Crypto Club last August. Many college students are turning to buying and selling cryptocurrencies to help cushion their finances while balancing unstable part-time jobs and limited work hours.
Technical Underpinnings of Cryptocurrency
The BYU Crypto Club explores the technical underpinnings of blockchain-based systems, including cryptocurrency, smart contracts, decentralized finance (De-Fi), and Web3. The club investigates which problems are suitable for a blockchain solution.
FTX Partnership
BYU Football Players recently entered a deal with cryptocurrency exchange platform FTX. This innovative partnership is one of the first of its kind and the first to pay players in cryptocurrency.
