Delays on M90 southbound after crash near Bridge of Earn

Emergency services responded to the scene at 7.45am on Thursday

Traffic is currently being diverted off the M90 southbound at junction 10 following a road traffic collision which has resulted in a lane closure.

The incident occurred at around 7.45am this morning (Thursday, February 23) and emergency services are currently on the scene. Traffic Scotland has reported that lane one (of two) is currently closed on the M90 southbound near Bridge of Earn, resulting in delays.

Motorists are being advised to expect delays and are being diverted off the M90 southbound at junction 10 onto the A977.

Drivers are being urged to use alternative routes if possible and to allow extra time for their journeys.

Traffic Scotland has tweeted: "The #M90 SBD J10 #BridgeofEarn lane 1 (of 2) is closed due to a Road Traffic Collision. Traffic is currently being diverted off at J10 onto the A977. Expect delays. @PoliceScotland are on scene."

Police Scotland has also tweeted: "We are currently in attendance at an RTC on the M90, southbound, near J10, following a report received around 7.45am on Thursday, February 23, 2023."
