Tornado Watch Issued for Northern South Dakota

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for northern South Dakota. The watch area includes the following counties:

  • Brown
  • Campbell
  • Edmunds
  • Faulk
  • Hyde
  • Potter
  • Spink
  • Walworth

The watch is in effect until 10 p.m. CDT.

34 Tornadoes Confirmed in the Upper Midwest

The National Weather Service has confirmed 34 tornadoes in the Upper Midwest, including 19 in Minnesota, 13 in South Dakota, 1 in North Dakota, and 1 in Iowa.

The tornadoes have caused widespread damage, including downed trees, damaged buildings, and power outages.

Northern Lights Spotted in KELOLAND
